With any purchase made at Borders, children meals at Borders Bistro (Wheelock Place) are at half-price with an order of a main meal. Valid from 14th to 22nd March.

I feel the $20.40 I spent signing up as a Borders Preferred Member well-spent. Although a 10% discount may not sound much, Borders extends the additional 10% off the total bill during special offers (like the ones highlighted here) for their preferred members. Which means I usually get between 20-40% off my bill. Sweet.
The half-price meal for children at Borders Bistro comes with a (kids’ size) smoothie / milk shake. Children meals without the discount are between $7.50 to around $12. I’m undecided if I would order another children’s meal again – some of the starters / salads sound far more tempting. But I would order the pasta i had again – the Gamberoni Bistro pasta ($16.50) – generous portion, tasty, fresh.

Nice to browse through Borders on a (non-crowded) weekday. The Bistro features an open-concept kitchen, so sit outside if you don’t care much for kitchen smells.
